The National Research Council organised a seminar/exhibition from 9 to 13 September 2006 on “Thailand Research Expo 2006᾿ to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the King’s accession to the throne. Mr. Niclas Morey, ECAP II Director and Head of the European Patent Office Liaison Office in Bangkok, spoke about the European Patent System and the “Weather Modification by Royal Rainmaking Technology᾿ patent recently granted by the EPO to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej of Thailand.
