A Seminar titled “Counterfeiting Focus Spots - Asia and the Internet Continuing Challenges for Brand Owners” was organised in Hong Kong by the Association of European Trade Mark Owners (or MARQUES) on 5 November 2007. During this one day event supported by the Office of the European Commission in Hong Kong and Macao, local and international experts presented European and Asian perspectives in the field of IPR protection regarding anti-counterfeiting activities. Mr. Passeri, ECAP II Programme Administrator, made a presentation introducing ECAP II activities and measures taken to support the strengthening of the protection and enforcement of trade marks in ASEAN.
