Completion of the first phase of on-line publication of Thai IP case law, April 2007

The summary and translation into English of IP decisions from the Supreme and IP & IT Courts in Thailand is now completed.  The database comprises 100 IP case law decisions in English and Thai, accessible on-line from the websites of the CIPITC (www.cipitc.or.th) and of ECAP II.  Searches can easily be performed using the search interfaces in English and Thai languages.

The IP case law database is an important result of the ECAP II/CIPITC efforts in promoting IP awareness and strengthening the IP enforcement systems in ASEAN.

ECAP II will now liaise with possible partners to compile IP case law from other ASEAN countries.
