Translation of three newly registered Vietnamese Geographical Indications (GIs) and the EC Regulation 1898/2006, September 2007

ECAP II supported the translation of three newly-registered Vietnamese Geographical Indications (GIs) from Vietnamese into English. These GIs are Phan Thiet Fish Sauce, Thanh Ha Litchi and Hai Hau Rice.

ECAP II also supported the Vietnamese translation of the EC Regulation 1898/2006 on GIs to facilitate the understanding in Vietnam of the implementation of the European GI protection system and to prepare for future applications of Vietnamese GIs to the European Union.
