Launch of Strategic Modernisation Plan/ Overall ECAP II Work Plan for Vietnam 4 March 2005, Hanoi

Vietnam’s Vice Minister of Science and Technology, Mr Le Dinh Tien, presided over a ceremony in Hanoi to launch ECAP II work plan for Vietnam. During the ceremony, Ambassador Markus Cornaro, Head of the EC Delegation to Vietnam, presented the Strategic Modernisation Plan and the ECAP II Overall Work Plan for Vietnam to the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam. The ceremony marked the start of the largest ECAP II national component – 1.5 million Euro to fund 51 activities between now until the end of 2006.
