Prof Michael Blakeney from the Queen Mary Intellectual Property Research Institute (QMIPR) of London (UK) undertook a mission to Hanoi to meet with the National Office of Intellectual Property (NOIP) and Vietnamese educational institutions in Hanoi to finalise a selection of teaching materials on IP to be translated into Vietnamese and to be disseminated among educational institutions. .
Prof Michael Blakeney’s mission was also dedicated to the preparation, in co-operation with the Training & Research Centre (TRC) of the NOIP, of a two-week advanced ‘’training of trainers” course on IP teaching for up to 30 Vietnamese university teachers from across Vietnam. The latter took place from 15 to 26 October 2007 in Hanoi.
