Translation of the new Thai GI Gazette and Registered GIs, July 2006

ECAP II translated the Thai Geographical Indications (GI) Gazette Vol 2 No 2 dated 24 March 2006 into English.  This Gazette serves as a means to publish new GI applications before their final registration following a ninety-day opposition period. The description of five newly GI-registered products, which are Chainat Khaotangkwa, Sriracha Pineapple, Champagne (France), Surat Thani Oyster, Sangyod Muang Phattalung Rice, was also translated and made available on-line in the ECAP II website.
