The Department of Intellectual Property (DIP) of the Thai Ministry of Commerce organised an exhibition & seminars at the occasion of the “Thailand IP Fair 2006” from 29 September to 1 October 2006 in Bangkok. The event addressed IP rights holders, various national and international IP agencies and the general public and aimed to raise the awareness on Intellectual Property (IP) and its benefits. At the ECAP II Pavilion built for the exhibition, information on ECAP II activities and European IP registration systems through EPO and OHIM were provided to visitors. Mr. Keri Rowles from the European Patent Office (EPO) demonstrated how to search IP information through the esp@cenet® website and Dr. Karl Rackette, European Patent Attorney, provided consultancy advice for patent drafting.
