Two experts from OHIM's Trademark Department - Legal Advisor Birgit Holst Filtenborg and Examiner Susana Palmero Cabezas jointly led this training session focusing on the latest developments concerning well-known marks and special marks. A group of 25 officers and exminers from the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore attended the event. "This course will greatly assist me in my future work. The workshop on Day 2 was very useful as it helped us to apply the learning points to the cases", comments Ms Lee Li Choon. Another course participant Chris Chua found the course extremely relevant to his work, in that "it gave us precedents to rely on, especially cases decided by the European Court of Justice and the boards of appeal."
