Training of Patent Examiners, 5-6 July 2007, Vientiane

A two-day training was conducted by Dr Martin Jäger from the German Patent and Trademark Office (GPTO) for officials from the Department of Intellectual Property Standardization and Metrology (DIP) of Lao PDR. An assessment of the current national patent and petty patent examination procedures was also undertaken.  This was a follow-up to the Workshop on Petty Patents/Utility Models organised in Thailand last month where two delegates from the Department of Intellectual Property Standardization and Metrology (DIP) of Laos attended.
