Mission to Assess IPR Automation Needs, 12-27 May 2005

Malaysia:
Mr Mark Robinson, an expert from the European Patent Office understook a mission to Kuala Lampur during 12-13 May to assess the current search tools available at the IPCM and SIRIM and provide training and consultation on search.

Vietnam:
From Malaysia, EPO expert Mark Robinson was in Hanoi on 16-18 May and in Ho Chi Minh City on 19-20 May to evaluate hardware needs of the National Office of Intellectual Property of Vietnam and related ministries.

Cambodia:
In Cambodia, Mr. Robinson was joined by Mr Benoit Lori from OHIM. They assessed the automation equipment and software needs for IP administration during 24-25 May.

Laos:
From Phnom Penh, the team of EPO and OHIM experts proceeded to Vientiane to evaluate the automation needs during 26-27 May.
