Secretary of State Sok Siphana, Ministry of Commerce was presented by ECAP II Administrator Stephane Passeri the Strategic Modernisation Plan for the development of intellectual property rights system, along with the Overall Work Plan for Cambodia during a ceremony to inaugurate at the first Cambodia Expo and Export International Fair. Mr. Daniel Costa-Llobet represented the EC Delegation in Cambodia at the ceremony. ECAP II is a European Commission supported and financed initiative. The presentation marked the official launch of ECAP II ‘ s national component for Cambodia which is seeking to build a TRIPs-compliant system in light of its accession to the WTO in 2004.
