Assistance in the development of the Cambodian patent examination procedure, 2-4 July 2007, Phnom Penh

Following the workshop on Petty Patents/Utility Models held in Bangkok (Thailand) last month, Dr Martin Jäger from the German Patent and Trademark Office (GPTO) undertook a three- day mission to Cambodia to analyse the current situation of Petty Patent and Patent examination.  He assisted the Intellectual Property Department (IPD) of Cambodia and the Department of Industrial Property (DIP) in the development of guidelines for patent examination procedures (patents and utility models).  A training session was also be organised for Cambodian government officials.
