Capacity building on IPR enforcement for administrative enforcement agencies in ASEAN

This activity is aimed at enhancing the capacity of the administrative enforcement agencies (including police and customs administrations) in interested ASEAN countries to deal with the enforcement of intellectual property rights.

This activity consists of providing for roving seminars on IPR enforcement for police and customs authorities to take place in interested ASEAN countries in 2014. With the participation of IPR enforcement experts from the region and abroad, this activity should contribute to share best practices on IPR enforcement among interested ASEAN countries. The seminars will follow the train-the-trainers concept, the participants should be in a better position to undertake efficient IPR enforcement action and to organize regular training programs at the level of their own administrations.
